In a video posted on Instagram and sighted by YEN.com.gh, the Hellas Verona midfielder is seen in his car singing along to the 'God is Alive' song while he cruised through town in his plush car.
He also stated that he considers the 'God is Alive' song by the Shatta Movement boss as an inspirational song.
He danced to the song in his car as he marked his birthday on December 2.
"DONT MIND THE VOICE, I HAVE A REASON TO SMILE, Let me enjoy this day with this inspirational song from the SHATTA MOVEMENT BOSS BIRTHDAY MOOD," Emmanuel Agyemang Badu posted on his Instagram page.
YEN.com.gh also reported that American mixed martial artist and former collegiate wrestler, Bubba Jenkins, has said that songs from Shatta Wale provide inspiration for him.
Bubba stated that anytime he is getting ready for a fight, he listens to Shatta Wale's songs in order to psyche himself up for the bout.
“He has a calm rhythm to some of his music and most of the time, when I’m walking out of my fights or preparing for a fight, I like reggae.
I like something that speaks about love and peace. Even if it’s speaking about war and intimidation, the substance and rhythm with which he sings, speaks to me during training times or when I’m trying to get into a certain mind frame," Bubba Jenkins disclosed during an interview on e. TV Ghana.
