YEN.com.gh has learned that about 150 students of the Accra High School have been admitted at the Adabraka Polyclinic.
This was after they complained of stomach pains after they ate meals prepared by the school.
They were sent to the clinic at dawn on Monday, December 2, 2019, after suspicions of food poisoning and diarrhoea became rife on campus.
Information available shows that most of the students are in their final year and are lodging in a private hostel operated by the school.
Per a report by 3news.com, a parent of one of the affected students revealed that he received a phone call from the authorities asking him to settle the bills of his child who was hospitalized.
The parent added that he was aware the students complained about the quality of meals served them at the school but nothing was done about it.
He added that the school’s authorities have argued there were inadequate funds to provide the preferred quality of meals for the students.
Meanwhile, veteran highlife musician, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, has revealed that he does not pray to Jesus Christ.
According to him, Jesus Christ is not the same as God and for that reason, he does not pray through Him.
The Ghanaian musician, songwriter, producer and composer made the statement during an interview on Class FM.
In that respect, he went ahead to state that he finds it hard to say Jesus is God and has a challenge with regard to praying to the creator through Jesus.
