A female preacher has been captured in a trending video singing Kofi Kinaata's Things Fall Apart in a latest video. Reports indicate that the incident happened in a busy market area in Takoradi.
The name of the preacher and the Christian ministry she serves in remain unknown but the trending video has made her popular nonetheless.
It is an interesting twist because Kofi Kinaata is a secular artist known for songs that may not be accepted in the 'house of God'.
To use his song for street evangelism comes as a bit of a surprise. Things Fall Apart, the song in question, actually has deep moral advice for people who believe in God.
It speaks about how today's Christians claim to serve God while they engage in activities that show nothing about the lifestyle God prescribes.
In addition, Things Fall Apart criticizes pastors and the church as a whole for practices that do not dignify the name of God or help the society.
A case in point is when Kofi Kinaata talked about how churches own big schools with expensive fees that church members are unable to afford for their wards.
It is interesting that the preacher found the courage to sing the words that may criticize her own actions in some ways. Nevertheless, it could be thought that she was speaking to both herself and the bypassers.
The scene shows that the people around were excited to witness the preacher's actions, as some hailed her whilst others sang along with joy.
Some others decided to record the moment for social media to share in the experience.

Pastors have been in the news for various reasons.
Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that an unnamed pastor has been captured in a recent video caning his members who were seen lying on the floor.
It is reported that the church members received the lashes because they were absent during a Sunday service. It is not known if the pastor had a register he marked which revealed those who were absent.
