Top pastor donates 1000 books to deprived schools; set to build office for staff

- A man of God identified as Bishop Asante Augustine has donated one thousand books to four deprived schools through his foundation

- Bishop Asante Augustine made the donation to Abesinsoum, Kwakummekrom, Chine and Nsuotam primary schools

- The kind man of God is also set to build an office for the staff of Kwakummekrom primary school

The CEO of Alpha Gives Foundation, Bishop Asante Augustine, has made a donation to Abesinsoum, Kwakummekrom, Chine and Nsuotam primary schools in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality, Western region.

Bishop Asante Augustine, via his enterprise, Alpha Gives Foundation, a non-profit organization, distributed 1000 books to the four primary schools in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality.

The man of God also revealed that his charity is set to ''build school office for Kwakummekrom primary headmaster [and] his staff.''

Bishop Asante Augustine notes his outfit decided on this because authorities at Kwakummekrom Primary School disclosed they didn’t have offices when he visited.

''When we went there they told us they don't have office as well as desks for class 1, 2 and the KG. We therefore need support to assist them for effective teaching and learning,'' Bishop Asante said.

Meanwhile, Samuel Sam, a brilliant first-class graduate and second year LL.B student at the Faculty of Law of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has appealed for financial assistance to enable him pay his fees.

In a letter addressed to the Director of Meltwater Incubator and signed by the Dean at the Faculty of Law, Prof. Lydia A. Ankansah, Samuel Sam is said to be facing financial challenges in his academics and applied for financial aid.

Sam is a brilliant first-class student with a cumulative weighted average of (CWA) of 70.42 and is currently finding it very difficult to pay for his fees.
