Ghana Armed Forces begin 2019/20 recruitment exercise

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced that it has started an enlistment for new personnel into Regular Career and Short Service Commission Officers.

According to a statement released and signed by director of public relations of the GAF, Commander A. La-Anyane, the scratch cards for the online application are on sale across the country at a fee of GHC 50.

The GAF gave the online portal for the application process is  www.gafrecruitment.com.

The closing date for the online submission is December 17, 2019.

The statement also warned the public to be mindful of middlemen or persons who charge monies and promise enlistment.

The public is, therefore, strongly advised to desist from paying monies to any person(s) who present themselves as agents or middlemen with the promise to help potential applicants join the GAF,” the statement from the Forces said. 

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that majority of Ghanaians says corruption has increased under the NPP government in 2018.

A new Afrobarometer survey say government is doing a poor job in fighting corruption. The report indicated the government’s anti-corruption efforts have declined sharply since 2017 after more than doubling in the previous three years.
