Some Ghanaians have reacted to a claim by President Akufo-Addo to the effect that he has never lied in the course of executing his duties.
Interacting with the chiefs and the people of Ga West, Ga North and Ga Central on Monday, December 2, 2019, he stated that he is doing everything he promised.
He added that he did not come into office to deceive Ghanaians and he is determined to transform the country with the help of his appointees.

The president went ahead to say that Accra will have its share of construction of roads in line with the announcement of the finance minister in Parliament with respect to the 2020 budget.
He told the residents that Accra will have its fair share of the construction of roads as the Finance Minister announced to Parliament in the 2020 budget.
His comments did not go down well with a cross-section of Ghanaians who reacted on social media:
Ella agreed with the president but said some appointees need to be removed from office.
Yiadom, however, declared the president is a liar.
Apotsey also noted that the president lies to Ghanaians.
Hussein also noted that the fact that Accra is not the cleanest city means the president lies.
Oko listed a number of projects the president lied about.
Ahiayibor listed a number of things he believes the president has lied about.
In other news, a video of an 84-year-old woman dancing to music playing in the background has caused a stir online.
In the video, a gathering of people and decorations depicted an aura of a birthday being observed.
As the music played on, the people, including the woman, sang along and she took the centre stage to show off her dancing skills.
Wearing a peach coloured dress, she sang along and exhibits=ed some gestures in a bid to emphasize the lyrics.
