A young teenager by name Anna Nkudu drowned whilst she attempted to save a man that was about to fall into a river.
Thegeniusmedia.com reports that the man was screaming for help as he was hanging loosely on a part of a bridge that was under construction. This incident occurred near Ongata Rongai which is at the edge of the capital city in Kenya.
Anna, who was just 19 years of age, went to the rescue of the screaming man. While attempting to save the man, Anna herself fell inside the Kandisi river.
The mother of the 19-year-old was at the scene and tried to save her daughter. According to her, she kept screaming Anna's name and going towards her but the waves of the river kept pulling her away.
She was carried far off where she vanished. Later, rescuers came to the scene and retrieved Anna Nkudu's remains.
It is reported that Anna Nkudu is only one of over 130 people who have surfaced a similar fate during recent floods in her locality.
The number was recorded just for the period between October and December this 2019.
In other news, a lady named Brigit Chichi could never be more proud of being a nurse after a patient she once took care of offered to do her monthly shopping after running into her in a local supermarket.
Chichi was in the retailer, but not to buy as many of us do in the stores, but to window shop since she was broke as she has not received her salary for the past eight months. Then a 'stranger' who she had helped as a patient in her hospital asked her to shop for free.
