The late Ayuba, who was also a former deputy director of communications at the EC, was reportedly transporting electoral materials from Tamale to Bole when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Per a report by citinewsroom.com, the district director for Tamale, Lucas Yirel, revealed that Ayuba’s remains have been deposited at the morgue of the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

Information gleaned from eyewitnesses show that a vehicle, which has already been involved in an accident at the same spot, is likely to have caused the accident.

It has been established that Kojo did not initially notice the vehicle and his attempt to dodge it resulted in a somersault of the pickup he was driving.

A police official who was accompanying the two men is also said to be in a critical condition.

In other news, YEN.com.gh is in possession of photos of a fisherman who is gathering fish to be sold to consumers with a broom.

The unidentified man, per reports available, was seen at Teshie Nshorna in the Ledzorkuku Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The photo brings to bear the manner in which fishes caught from the sea are handled before they reach the final consumer.

The man dries the fish on the bare, sandy floor, leaving them exposed to multiple unsanitary factors before it is dried.

Thereafter, he sweeps the fish with the broom before packing them to be sold at the market.
