Farmers' Day: Stunning lady dresses with foodstuff to mark big day

A lady who has adorned herself with foodstuff to mark Farmer's Day celebrations has surfaced on social media.

The picture was sighted by YEN.com.gh as it got massive reactions from social media users.

In the beautiful picture that was making waves, the lady who appears to be a farmer, was spotted with palm nuts all over her.

She made them beautifully into a headgear with palm fronds on top of it. She also used them around her neck like a huge but beautiful chain.

Her bust was covered with small-sized calabashes that were just enough to protect the two 'oranges'. Down below, she neatly wrapped herself with a beautiful Kente while holding a basket made of fresh fronds.

December 6, 2019, marks this year's edition of the annual Farmers' Day celebrations held in Ghana.

The day is set aside to celebrate the hard work of farmers all over the country. Events are held with the most deserving farmers given massive gifts.

This is to boost their performance for the next year as well as motivate all farmers to keep doing the amazing works they do.

Without their massive contributions, a basic need of life such as food, would be difficult to come by.

This lady has shown great pride and confidence in the farming profession but she is not alone. YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Emeka Chukwu Morgie, a graduate with a degree in Banking and Finance has ventured into pig farming and is beginning to succeed.

He has the farm in one of the suburbs of the Eastern Region Farming has always been his passion.

It all started after he finished his national service and decided to go for a training that would equip him with the required skills to embark on farming.
