Beyonce's dad, Matthew Knowles, has left many fans shocked after putting hands in the vault to share previously unreleased music from Destiny's Child recorded back when they used to go by the name Girls Tyme.

Our Manifesto: This is what believes in

According to reports, the album, Destiny's Child: The Untold Story, came out on multiple streaming platforms via Knowles' Music World Entertainment label on Monday, December 2, and the material comes from when the group consisted of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Robertson during the early 90s.

Matthew first announced the album back on November 21, but many didn't really take him seriously. Interestingly, Knowles also released an accompanying book of the same title.

It is unclear whether Beyonce gave a nod to this, however, everyone knows that Queen B and her father have had a rocky relationship.

It was gathered that Mathew's habitual infidelity led the singer's mom, fashion designer Tina Knowles (now Lawson), to divorce him in 2011, straining his relationship with his daughters.

After years of professional ups and downs, Beyoncé announced that she was officially cutting professional ties with her father in 2011, till this moment, they remain estranged. However, Mathew is bent on showing the world music from the archives.

Meanwhile, at the tender age of seven, Blue Ivy Carter won her very first Soul Train award. The daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z wracked up the honour for her contribution to her famous mom's hit, Brown Skin Girl.

The music is a tribute to women of colour and it is Blue Ivy’s first songwriting credit.

In other stories, Kanye West's most recent music video dubbed Closed on Sunday has left people all over the internet after he decided to add a new spin to his art. The father of four featured nearly his whole family in his song's visuals.

In the video, Kim Kardashian, Kanye's four children and a big chunk of the Kardashian-Jenner flock were spotted doing what they do best - act.

The video was released on Thanksgiving and the best part was when North West decided to do a cover of her dad's part.
