Shatta Wale has presented items worth of GHC150,000 to farmers in the Amansie West District on the occasion of Farmer’s Day.
The items are mainly electrical gadgets made up of TV, fans, and other electrical farming equipment.
The King of Dancehall made the presentation when he joined the farmers in that District to celebrate the day.
In a brief speech, the musician acknowledged the essence of farming in the creation of jobs and the production of food for every living being.
He said, when taken seriously, farming would provide more jobs for the youth and help solve unemployment.
Shatta Wale was reported to have said: “Farming is important because it provides food and jobs for the population. As a country, I think it is time we embrace industrial farming which provides a large amount of food at a relatively low cost and hugely contributes to the industrial development of the country."
He added: "More jobs will be created for the youth and more people which will help solve the unemployment situation in the county.”
This happens to be a record set by the musician as no other person from the music industry had embarked on such a project.
The chief, farmers, and people of Amansie District were happy to welcome and be with Shatta Wale and his entourage.
His manager, Bulldog, was also seen in the photos.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s former girlfriend, Michy, has opened a new hotel and pub.
In a recent publication by YEN.com.gh, Michy was captured in beautiful photos playing with their son Majesty.
