Farmers' Day 2019 was the 35th annual celebration of farmers in Ghana. It was instituted to recognize and reward deserving farmers while motivating them to do more in the coming years.

YEN.com.gh has sighted many amazing moments of the day as it transpired on the 6th of Decemer 2019.

1. The moment John Dumelo stirred social media a picture of him taking care of an animal farm.

According to the popular movie star, he has owned several farms over the years.

2. Samini revealed he is also a farmer on his Instagram page when he posted a picture of himself on a farm.

He said he was wishing his 'fellow farmers' a happy farmers' day

3. Lilwin also took to his account to celebrate the day, posting a picture of himself with a cocoa tree in the background.

The popular Kumawood actor had a costume that looked like an old character in a movie.

4. Kalybos also posted a very intriguing picture on the big day.

He was captured all dressed up like a local hunter. He also used the opportunity to wish all farmers a happy day.

5. Another fun moment during the 2019 Farmers' Day celebrations was when the National Best Farmer Award was given.

Charles Gyamfi won the coveted award and took home GHc500,000 as a prize

6. Popular dancehall artiste Shatta Wale also thrilled everyone on the National Farmers Day.

7. The 2019 edition of the Farmers' Day also saw a trending picture of a lady all dressed up in foodstuff.

Farmers have been doing an amazing job in Ghana.

Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that Emeka Chukwu Morgie, a graduate with a degree in Banking and Finance has ventured into pig farming and is beginning to succeed.

He has the farm in one of the suburbs of the Eastern Region Farming has always been his passion.

It all started after he finished his national service and decided to go for a training that would equip him with the required skills to embark on the farming.
