Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
Sharon Steele, a lady who has been in very depressing situations in life and was once in prison has risen to become a topnotch entrepreneur.
According to Blacknews.com, Steele, who originally comes from Farmington Hills, Michigan and still resides in the same locality, has had challenging moments since childhood.
Early in her life, she had to assume the responsibility of taking charge of her life and providing for her own needs. As though that was not enough, she was soon a mother of children and had to take care of them as a single mother.
It is thinkable that Sharon Steele lived in a hostile environment with her children as one of Sharon's children survived five different counts of gunshots.
Things were so bad that the brilliant young lady attempted to take her own life at a point because she had suffered enough of abuses and even faced police conviction.
Reports indicate that she just decided to hand over her battles to God and keep forging on in life. Life started to turn around for Sharon Steele. She decided to put her life into meaningful use and got the idea of helping struggling businesses gain the exposure they needed.
That was how her business named Business Girlfriends came up. The brand has since its inception helped tons of businesses across Sharon's country.
Today, the brilliant young woman has transformed into a high-profile lady organizing topnotch workshops and transformational programmes.
Sharon Steele has also been business partners with Gregg Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta and on the tour team with Dr Venus Opal for The First Black Woman Millionaire Tour.
Sharon is also working on completing her first book entitled 'Distract, Denied, Delayed But I Have Destiny'. She says this book will bring awareness to a lot of people.
She has already gathered over 2,000 women to empower them with the teaching of Kingdom Mindset.
Black women have been doing amazing works. Just recently, YEN.com.gh reported that popular Hollywood teen actress, Marsai Martin, has made Forbes 30 under 30 list. Aged 15, she started acting at 10, playing as Diane Johnson on Black-ish.
