President Akufo-Addo, during his tour of the Greater Accra Region said, his government has paid contractors, so Ghanaians, especially wives of these contractors should expect to have a great and joyous Christmas.
According to the President, the money paid to contractors recently will add to the improvement in the “system” that will make the yuletide great for Ghanaians.
He noted that the overall effect of the payment to contractors will boost the economy and make money available for Christmas.
“This will improve the cash flow of our contractors, and ensure that those who had left their construction sites return to complete their projects,” he opined.
But some Ghanaians on social media, specifically Facebook, have outlined various reasons why Christmas can not be enjoyed or will not be fun.
