Cardi B apologizes to Afia Schwar over khebab brouhaha

American rapper Cardi B has rendered an unqualified apology to Afia Schwar following the khebab brouhaha.

On Sunday, December 8, 2019, many female Ghanaian celebrities including Afia Schwar, stormed Cardi B's hotel in Accra for a meet and greet session.

However, it turned out bad as the rapper didn't show up and was seen chewing khebab at the poolside of the hotel.

The situation got Afia Schwar angry as she went on her Instagram handle to spit fire on the grammy award-winner for disrespecting them.

Afia Schwar wrote, "I will NOT wait 4 hrs for Jesus....I wont do that for @iamcardib The cheap so called Celebrities are still waiting for their fellow human being till 8:40pm. Whiles madam is on some coke n khebab."

However, Cardi B swiftly replied Afia Schwar by apologizing to her for the miscommunication.

Cardi B also wrote, "You are not a cheap celebrity.Sorry for the misunderstanding.Hopefully we will meet one day and things go different .Thank you for coming out anyways .Your country is lovely."

Meanwhile, American songwriter, Cardi B has expressed love for Ghana after flaunting the country's colours in the outfits she wore.

Cardi B performed in Ghana for the first time and she didn't disappoint.
