Grammy award-winning US rapper Cardi B has expressed admiration for some Ghanaian celebrities by following them on Instagram.
The rapper who left Ghana yesterday, December 9, 2019, on a rather sad note still proved she has a love for some Ghanaians.
Checks done by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of Cardi B revealed that she is following popular dancehall musician Shatta Wale.
The rapper who had fun with Akuapem Poloo during the 'Meet and Greet' event at Kempinski also followed her.
While in her hotel room, Cardi B danced to Kwesi Arthur's song thus she might have fallen in love with the young star thereby following him.
Actress and television presenter Efia Odo also got a following from Cardi B after jamming with her at the stadium concert.
It is clear that even though Cardi B had a little tough time in Ghana, Shatta Wale, Efia Odo, Kwesi Arthur and Akuapem Poloo are those she decided to follow.
One other top female celebrity who had a really good time with Cardi B was popular musician Becca as they went to the Twist Night Club together.
The rapper's following of these four personalities are worth making the news because of the brouhaha that transpired during her short stay in Ghana.
A Cardi B 'Meet and Greet' event which was delayed for over 6 hours caused so much stir on social media.
Female Ghanaian celebrities who had trooped the Kempinski Hotel to meet Cardi B were left waiting from afternoon till night.
As a result, Afia Schwar, Hajia4Reall and Victoria Lebene expressed their displeasure by criticizing Cardi B in videos they posted on Instagram, instead of faulting organizers.
Cardi B and her team heard about the brouhaha which began trending and got angry, coming live on Instagram to explain she was not informed about the event.
Meanwhile, a full list of female celebrities who trooped the Kempinski Hotel to meet Cardi B has surfaced online in a publication by YEN.com.gh.
A section of Ghanaians has been trolling them on social media, saying that they are nothing but 'slay queens' who wanted some attention from Cardi B.
