Award-winning dancehall musician Shatta Wale has laid down what might be his reason for not performing at the Cardi B in Ghana concert.
According to the Shatta Movement boss, he does not want to perform at concerts which do not have a huge turn out; meeting his standard.
In a recent comment after the Cardi B event, he said "In 2020 if you organize a concert and the crowd is not up to my standard, I will not come."
"I am not that cheap. Artistes should learn how to read and sign a contract. I am a Lawyer by myself," he added.
Shatta Wale who was billed to perform at the Cardi B in Ghana concert failed to mount the stage that night.
Fans of Shatta Wale who thronged the poorly attended event did not have the opportunity to get thrilled by the superstar.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale made the news prior to the concert after flying in a helicopter for a soundcheck at the venue.
In photos and videos which went viral online, Shatta Wale was captured flying over the Accra Sports Stadium to check on preparations towards the much-anticipated event.
The 'Gringo' hitmaker also tweeted prior to the concert that he was excited to be billed to perform with Cardi B.
He disclosed that the event which also had top acts Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking on bill was his dream show.
