Popular US female rapper Cardi B has disclosed that she heard about Shatta Wale before playing her concerts in Nigeria and Ghana.
According to the Grammy award-winning artiste, her former hairstylist told her Shatta Wale is the biggest musician in Ghana.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Cardi B showered accolades on Shatta Wale and confirmed knowing him.
"Before going to Africa, I had a Ghanaian friend. Back in the days there used to be this woman that does my hair all the time, she was a Ghanaian lady," she recalled.
"Before going to Ghana she told me about Shatta Wale. She said he’s like the biggest Ghanaian artiste," she added.
This might be the reason why Cardi B followed Shatta Wale on Instagram in addition to three other celebrities.
After leaving Ghana, the US rapper followed Shatta Wale, Kwesi Arthur, Akuapem Poloo and Efia Odo.

However, Cardi B expressed disappointment in Ghanaians concerning the saga she went through concerning the 'Meet and Greet' event.
In a post, she revealed that even though she was in Ghana for less than 24 hours, she got involved in a dilemma.
