Filipino boxer Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, popularly known as Manny Pacquiao, has bagged a university degree.
Pacquiao, the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing, got a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science - Local Government Administration, from the University of Makati in Philipines.
A senator in his home country, the 40-year-old only announced his decision attend Makati for the degree earlier in 2019.
But in what appears to be a fast-tracked move, Pacquiao was among the 400 graduands at the university's graduation ceremony.
Announcing his feat on social media after the graduation, Pacquaio said: "It is never too late to dream bigger dreams. It is never too late to accomplish our dreams."
He added: "I am excited to receive my diploma and display it on the wall."
"Let this victory outside the boxing ring serve as an inspiration for people who are struggling to fight, to rise above adversity, to conquer and to embrace life and all its difficulties."
He further dedicated the bachelors to his "very beautiful and very supportive wife, Jinkee, and to our amazing children, Jimuel, Michael, Princess, Queenie, and Israel. I will also show this diploma to my Mommy Dionisia, my Dad, and my siblings and remind them of God’s faithfulness."
Pacquiao's announcement came with beautiful photos from his graduation. The photos showed the boxer beautifully dressed in his academic gown and posing with his colleagues and family.
Manny Pacquiao's graduation photos and speech come just a few weeks after he warmed the hearts of many social media after releasing an adorable photo of his family.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, the reigning WBA world welterweight champion shared a photo showing off his all-grown children.
In the photo sighted by YEN.com.gh, Pacquaio was seen in a family with all his children including his beautiful wife.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported how Pacquiao, following his massive construction of 1,000 homes for the underprivileged in 2016, took to Facebook to solicit funds through his foundation to build more affordable houses for the poor.
