Popular Comedian Kevin Hart has revealed the struggles he went through after his injury setback.

The funnyman is happy to be alive after suffering a career-threatening back injury in an accident that nearly cost him his life.

Joining renowned TV host Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen Show, Kevin revealed that he had to undergo back surgery.

He said there was a time he couldn't move and even reach his back.

"You do not realise that your back is connected to everything. Coming out of back surgery everything changed because you're kind of helpless. That's when you get to see what matters, life treats you in a completely different way," Kevin revealed in the interview.

He also shared about having a difficult time during the second birthday of his young son, where he had to do stuff he was not comfortable with, just to make him happy.

The comedian went silent for two months before resurfacing with a video that detailed his journey through recovery.

Kevin went to his best, releasing a set of episodes for his numerous shows such as Cold as Balls and Straight from the Hart.

He is set to release the second part of the Jumanji movie featuring great actors such as Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black.
