Ghanaian businessman turns wayside shop at Achimota into an ultra-modern factory (photos)

- A young and vibrant Ghanaian entrepreneur called Selorm Betepe has built an ultra-modern factory under his Seloart brand that makes signs for companies

- The company started as a wayside shop at Achimota and has now grown into a firmly rooted company

- The CEO, Selorm Betepe, reveals that this is just the beginning as there are huge plans of building more advanced facilities

Selorm Betepe, a gentleman who used to work in a small shop at Achimota in the Greater-Accra region of Ghana has successfully developed his small business of sign-writing into a huge sign-making company.

The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Seloart, Selorm Betepe, created a thread of posts on his official Facebook handle, telling how the enterprise rose from grass to grace.

Selorm also shared amazing 'before and after' pictures that reveal how things were back in 2005 when it all began to where the enterprise has gotten to now.

Recently, the company which is now renowned as The Seloart Group opened an ultra-modern facility that is capable of handling multiple client needs at the same time.

The new factory is located Pokuase in Accra and has CNC, Laser cut and engraving, letter forming, Chanel Bending and Large format digital printing systems capable of processing over 30 different applications.

Speaking at the launch of the ultra-modern facility, Selorm revealed a portion of the journey they underwent saying:

“In 2009, we decided to take our production to another level and that required us to build a state-of-the-art sign centre fitted with the relevant technology to enable us to meet demand as well as achieve our goal of becoming the signage manufacturing company of choice.

"Ten years down the line, this is where we are today; from road sign writers to sign makers,” he said.

It is indicated that there are plans to even further advance the factory and add an additional 600 Sqm state of the art steel fabrication plant nearby.

Selorm Betepe revealed that their plan is that the new advancement will also be operational by the end of 2021.
