The mother of the assaulted student, Evelyn Hanson, expressed surprise at the incident, wondering why the teacher would commit such an act.

She has consequently declared her intent to inform the affected student’s grandfather in order to determine the next course of action.

Adams has meanwhile refused to comment on the matter, but the school’s authorities are determined to begin investigations, 3news.com reports.

Sawyer has however indicated that it is possible Adams’ action was politically motivated as she recalls she was once stoned “with iced block at Asafo”.

She went ahead to accuse the minister of state in charge of tertiary education, Professor Kwesi Yankah, who is also the Agona East New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate, of being the brain behind such attacks.
