Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that three evangelical pastors of the Kingdom Life Ministries have embezzled a total of £456,853 from the church.
They allegedly paid themselves out of the church’s charity account and a three-year investigation revealed that the three people breached their duties.
Per a report obtained from standard.co.uk and video that has since gone viral, the suspects, Anthony Osei-Dankwa, Emmanuel Owusu Ansah and Olivia Ansah submitted a list of estimated expenses relating to construction work, international flights and video production.
An analysis of the documents submitted however shows that the details did not match the withdrawals, as most of the payments made were “round sums”.
The report added that the suspects failed to comply with the provisions of their duties and mismanaged the funds as a result.
In other news, YEN.com.gh has learned that a group of people has heckled the founder and leader of the Zoe Embassy, Pastor Kelvin Kwesi Kobiri.
Information available suggests that he had asked them to invest monies with respect to an investment portfolio believed to be owned by him.
The people, believing that they have been swindled, caught up with him as he parked his car and surrounded it.
They then began to manhandle him as he stepped out of the car. One of them kept saying that they will be arrested for their actions.
