In other news, YEN.com.gh has learned that a group of American school children have raised funds to support Ghanaian children who are struggling to access education.
The decision was reached after the students, who are in Minneapolis, were motivated to assist after learning of the struggles Ghanaian children face in a bid to get an education.
The American students study at the John Paul the Second and Ascension Catholic School in Minneapolis and the St. Peter Claver in St. Paul.
One of the students, Rachel Criollo, explained that “I kind of feel bad for them because it’s not fair.” Helena Farrell added that “It’s hard for like kids to get a good education so they can go to high school and college”.
They then began to mobilize monies in order to purchase educational materials for Ghanaian students, dailmailgh.com reports.
