Mariah Carey's confused 10-year challenge pics stirs mixed reactions

- Mariah Carey decided to join the 10-year challenge on social media

- But the American singer was a little confused about how it works, insisting that she defies time

- While some mocked the singer, her loyal 'Lambily' came to her defence, praising the ageless queen

US songbird, Mariah Carey, has basically won the decade challenge with her latest tweet.

For those who don’t know what the decade challenge is, it is a challenge that sees someone post a picture of themselves in the beginning of the decade next to one taken at the end of the decade. This is usually to show their glow up, and the challenge has taken the Internet by storm.

However, Mariah Carey said she didn’t quite get the challenge. She posted two of the exact same photos of herself on Twitter, and captioned the post, “Time is not something I acknowledge.

But tweeps had a field day with her post. While some praised the 49-year-old All I Want For Christmas Is You hit-maker, whose holiday song recently topped the US charts after 25 years, other made fun of her statement and created memes from it.

But her loyal fans came to Mariah’s defence. When one user commented that the singer wouldn’t look so good if she wasn’t airbrushed, to which another responded, “Mariah doesn’t get airbrushed. Air is lucky to get brushed by Mariah.”
