Founder of Heavens Gate Ministry International, Prophet Nicholas Osei , popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has described young men who earn very little but borrow money to have extravagant weddings as 'senseless beings'.

According to him, it is irrelevant for young people who earn meager salaries to be thinking about wasting money to hold extravagant weddings.
Speaking in an interview on Adom TV, Prophet Kumchacha, gave an instance by saying "it’s senseless for a man who takes GH¢500 as salary to wed his girlfriend using GHS 20,000 loan from banks.

It has become a trend for young people to have luxurious wedding beyond their savings, using bank loans.

Though some churches, families, and organizations frown on such luxurious weddings, others also tend to promote them.
It is on the back of this that Prophet Kumchacha has jabbed all those who did that or are hoping to do that in the future.

YEN.com.gh recently reported that several Ghanaians celebrities had tied the knot in extravagant ceremonies, which wowed their families, friends, and fans across the world.
Some of these include John Dumelo, Eugene Osafo-Nkansah, Adwoa Sarfo, Ebenezer Donkoh (NYDJ), Sammy Forson among others. Their marriage ceremonies broke the internet with their glamorous photos.

Be it as it may, some celebrity weddings would be the talk of town and would end up being crashed by their teeming fans and followers.
This can be said to be one of the reasons many celebs keep their weddings private.
