Dancehall star Stonebwoy is set to hold his 2019 Bhim Concert at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on Saturday, December 21.

Ahead of the concert, Stonebwoy and his team have already in Tamale to make final preparations for the concert.

Upon their arrival in Tamale on Thursday, December 19, Stonebwoy paid a courtesy call on Ya-Na Abubakari Mahama II, the King of the Dagbon.

The city of Tamale happens to be part of the Dagbon Kingdom and as tradition demands, it was appropriate for Stonebwoy to call on the owners of the land and announce his presence.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Stonebwoy's could be seen paying homage to the Ya-Na at his Gbewaa Palace at Yendi.

Following the visit, Ya-Na affirmed Stonebwoy's tittle Dancehall Sapashini (Dancehall warrior) of Africa, a title which was originally given to the musician by the Paramount Chief o Tamale, Gukpegu Naa Alhaji Abdula in 2016.

Earlier, Stonebwoy had received a hero's welcome from his fans as she touched down and went through town in a convoy.

Sharing a video on Instagram, Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude for the warm reception given him.

"Thanks to the good people of Tamale and Yendi for the warm reception! Special thanks to the Entertainment Chief, Dagbon Dema-Naa , for leading the team to the Gbewaa Palace to pay homage to the Chief War Lord Ya-Na Abukari Mahama II. It Gives Me The Pleasure As The First Musician To Meet The Over Lord After 16Years Of A Vacant Skin. Affirming My Kingship Title The Sapashini Of Dancehall Reggae In Africa. See you on Saturday!!! #BhimConcert19 #ReturnOf1GAD," he wrote.
