For a sports that is male dominated, the referee world could be challenging for most women especially because women who don’t present as males are oftentimes looked down upon but Tetteh Abigail is creating a niche regardless.

From Saisi in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, the Class 2 GFA licensed referee aspires to become a FIFA referee.

Abigail completed SHS at Akwamuman Senior High School in the Asuogyaman District, Eastern region.

The Krobo indigene has dreams of pursuing higher educational heights and also aspires to become a FIFA licensed referee in the near future.

Male-presenting individuals vastly outnumber non-males in coaching, analysis, refereeing and in almost every tactical position in the sports, but Tetteh Abigail aims at making impressive strides.
