Following the release of Shatta and Samini’s new Christmas banger titled Celebration, the former has spoken about their collaboration for the first time since the song hit the internet in December 2019.
Ghanaian dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Samini have already captured the Christmas euphoria after a timely release of Celebration, which sets a tone of excitement before, during and even after the festive season.
YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that the two prominent artistes heeded to the compelling voices of their fans to collaborate and work on a hit song despite the years of tension between Samini and Shatta Wale.
However, even before the song gains a global reach, Shatta Wale has claimed supremacy over Samini, noting that he is the man of the moment and that Samini was smart to take advantage of the opportunity.
''When the opportunity comes you grab it…I believe Samini has seen the opportunity in grabbing this time of my moment because I wanted to do the same with him but I couldn’t get the opportunity. But like it goes, when I get my food, I make you chop small because I’m a brother man,'' Shatta Wale bragged while engaging fans at the Shatta Movement Loyalty Awards 2019, held on Friday, December 20, 2019.
The collaboration of the two notable musicians had been a highly anticipated one given the fact that their fans really wanted to hear from them and finally the song is here.
