Nana Adabor Ibrahim Issah Ampim, also known as Honourable Aponkye may have failed in his bid to become an assemblyman.
But he has gained a lot of fame and he is really enjoying his time in the limelight.
In new videos sighted by YEN.com.gh, Aponkye has been spotted chilling with GHOne TV broadcasters Nana Aba Anamoah and Joyce Serwaa Amihere.
One of the videos has Aponkye standing behind Nana Aba as they jammed to some old school music.
During their dance, Nana Aba shouted Aponkye's name and he responded saying: "Nana Aba one. We are enjoying the Christmas vibes."
Sharing the video on Instagram Nana Aba indicated that she was on a date with Aponkye.
"My afternoon date #Aponkye," she wrote.
Later, Nana Aba shared another video which had Aponkye sitting beside Serwaa at the same event.
This time, the music playing in the background was Beyonce's Already song which features Shatta Wale.
As the Already song played, Serwaa asked Aponkye if he knew who did that the song and he responded by mentioning Shatta Wale's name.
From there, Aponkye got Serwaa laughing after he tried to sing along the song.
He later screamed Shatta Wale's signature shout Paah Paah Paah as he sent a shoutout to he musician.
Sharing the second video, Nana Aba wrote: "Hello @shattawalenima, Aponkye says hi."
YEN.com.gh has learnt that the programme Nana Aba and Serwaa attended with Aponkye was the opening of a cold by one of their friends.
Meanwhile, Aponkye, in the aftermath of his loss in the Adukrom Nima Electoral Area elections, disclosed his intention to head to go to court.
As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Aponkye was suspicious that the election was rigged hence his decision to go to court to seek redress.
But from all indications, Aponkye seems to be okay now.
