Her claims about the president follows an invitation sent out to the party’s National Communications Officer, Mr Sammy Gyamfi, by the CID of the Ghana Police Service over an alleged cybercrime involving the NDC official.

Dr. Bisiw told the media that the allegations against her colleague is politically motivated and it is coming from the presidency, the Jubilee House.
“It’s political, it’s witch-hunting and vindictive. President Akufo-Addo is an oppressor, he is persecuting his political opponents, he can’t tolerate different ideas and multiparty democracy. He came with a ballot in one hand and a gun in the other, he is not leading but ruling. We are not opponents but now political enemies,” she said.
Meanwhile, the meeting between Sammy Gyamfi and the CID was postponed to Tuesday, December 24, 2019 instead of the December 23 date.
But the NDC national communication officer has also sued the Attorney General and Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and prayed the court for an interlocutory injunction to be placed on the enforcement of a court order secured by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service, to have his mobile phone and Facebook account records searched in connection with an alleged cybercrime.

In his application, Mr Gyamfi said on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, “I received a phone call from an officer by name ACP Herbert Yankson, Head of Cyber Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service that he has been authorised by the 2nd Respondent (IGP) to invite me based on a complaint received from the Jubilee House without more”, adding: “The 2nd Respondent’s authorised officer did not state any named or identifiable complainant except to say Jubilee House”.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that President Nana Akufo-Addo says only the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can transform Ghana.
According to the president, his party has the sole responsibility of transforming the country to a prosperous one.
