Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has been hit hard by one of his fans who claim the 'Baby' hitmaker only pretends to be friendly and starts socializing when Rapperholic is near each year.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie is seen having a hearty chat with some entertainment journalists and players in the industry at Nana Boroo's private Christmas house party.
The 'Hope' hitmaker is also seen sharing inside jokes with the guys at the party as well.
But a fan who was not pleased with how Sarkodie was engaging with the industry players said the 'Giant Steps' rapper only becomes only starts to socialize and be friendly each year when the Rapperholic concert is near.
"You only see Sarkodie socializing and acting friendly when Rapperholic is near," the fan whose user name on Instagram is 'heist_4' posted in the comments section.
Sarkodie is known to be a very private person who hardly hangs out with industry players. He is also very choosy about the people he allows to be around him and also those he hangs out with.
This is not the first time the rapper has been criticized about his relations with industry people.
In 2015, Kwasi Aboagye stopped the SarkCess Music label owner from appearing on his show, 'Entertainment Review', to promote his “Mary” album launch.
According to Kwasi Aboagye, he sees no reason to give him airtime to promote his event when he (Sarkodie) does not open his gates when they call him for a radio interview.
This year’s Rapperholic event which features top stars is scheduled for December 25 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a video showing several fans rushing in to take selfies with celebrity rapper Sarkodie had emerged.
The video shows the crowd patiently taking turns to take pictures with the 'Saara' hitmaker at an unknown location.
Sarkodie appeared to be in high spirits as he cheerfully hugged and greeted his fans before possing to take selfies with them
