A swam of bees invaded the pitch, during a football match between two Tanzanian teams, Young Africans and Iringa United at the Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The invasion saw players, referees and fans who had come to support their teams all diving to the ground to avoid stings by the small invaders.

The one-sided match which was going the way of Young Africans came to a halt in the 53rd minute of the game when the bees interrupted.
Players of both teams scattered and fans were also seen taken cover to avoid bee stings.
But the match continued after the short break.
Young Africans emerged eventual winners of the game by scoring 4-0 against their opponents.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian professional footballing star, Jonathan Mensah and his wife, Kafui Tinglafo, recently paid a courtesy visit to the US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan.
