Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama emerged winner of a musical chairs competition Wednesday.
The friendly game was part of celebrations at a Christmas party held for some selected children and hosted by the former President himself at his residence.
Mahama and his son, Sharaf Mahama were the last two left ‘standing,’ when the music went off, the elder of the two Mahamas had the upper hand, sitting comfortably as onlookers applauded the son’s submission to his father.

The two competitors were determined to win the competition as they are seen in a viral video employing all manner of tricks to emerge victorious.
At one point, the ex-president kept turning the chair to his advantage, hoping that the music will stop for him to sit on the chair.
Sharaf, also had his own tricks. He kept delaying his movement, anticipating that the music will stop for him to outwit his father.
Eventually, Mahama, managed to beat his son and won the musical chair competition.
Cheers and laughter greeted his victory.

In other news, Former president John Dramani Mahama has hinted that if given the opportunity to lead the country again, he will reduce the size of government drastically by scrapping what he calls “useless” ministries created by President Akufo-Addo.
The NDC flag bearer said this in a Facebook live session on Monday, December 23, 2019.
Mahama downplayed the importance of for example the sanitation ministry created by the Akufo-Addo administration.
