Joe: 10-year-old boy who was told not to draw in school, gets first job to draw on restaurant's wall

- Joe, a 10-year-old boy, has done what many his age could not do as he got his first job to draw on a restaurant's wall

- Before he got hired, the boy was always having issues at school for drawing in classes

- Joe's parents encouraged his skill and enrolled him in an after-school program to brush his craft

You never know how bright a child could turn out. This is why it is very important to always support kids whenever parents discover they have a skill for something.

This is what Joe’s parents did for him and he turned out really well. He was always getting into trouble for doodling in class. Instead of his parents to frown at it, they encouraged him by enrolling him in an after-school program.

The 10-year-old boy did not only succeed, he got hired by a popular restaurant in England, called Number 4, to decorate their walls. And he did an amazing job at it.

He now has an instagram page and a website with the brand name The Doodle Boy. In an interview with his dad, Gregory, Bored Panda reports that Joe has always loved drawing.

His dad also advised other parents to always encourage their children to “follow their passion and dreams”.

“I would advise parents to encourage their children to always follow their passion and dreams - research local workshops or groups within your local community,” he said.

He said Joe jumped at the idea of painting of the restaurant’s wall.

“They wanted to get Joe into their restaurant to complete an art piece on their wall, and it was in their main dining area, we were over the moon.

“I asked Joe and he, of course, leaped at the chance to do it so we have been going there after school where for a couple of hours a night he’ll put his creativity on their wall,” he said.
