An Accra Circuit Court has placed an injunction on this year's Afro Nation, preventing the organizers from holding the event at Laboma Beach Resort in Accra.

According to the suit, the applicants, SBC-LA Limited, claim the venue for the widely advertised show encroaches on their land and prayed the court to stop Laboma Beach Resort from going ahead with the concert at the venue on the disputed space.
