A hilarious footage of a Santa Claus getting flogged for not showing up with Christmas gifts is causing a stir on the internet.
The video was taken by an unidentified man who was quick not to miss the action. It is not clear which exact location the incident took place and the name of the 'poor' Santa is also unknown.
Adomonline.com indicates that the Santa had popped up into the neighbourhood full of kids. The move got everyone startled including the kids who were expectant that they would get some gifts thrown at them.
To their disappointment, the Santa who is locally referred to as 'Father Christmas' had nothing to offer.
The disappointment led the kids in the area to pour a few lashes on Father Christmas. By the time the video was started, Santa was seen lying on the floor while the kids cautiously went one after the other to offer the doses of beatings.
When he had enough, he sprang up and all the children fled from him. He packed up his costume that had fallen to the ground and off he went.

Different Santas have been in the news for different interesting reasons.
YEN.com.gh recently reported that an adorable video has popped up on social media in which foreigners and other arrivals at the Kotoka International Airport were warmly received into Ghana by three Santa Clauses.
The video was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle of Ghana the Black Star of Africa.
The entrants at the airport were left dumbfounded by the matching dance moves of the Ghanaian Santa Clauses and the gifts that were showered on them.
