Michelle Obama named most admired woman in the world for the 2nd time

Former US first lady, Michelle Obama, has for the second consecutive time being named the most admired woman in the world in a survey conducted in the US.

Even while in the White House, she had more popularity rating than her husband, Barrack Obama, who was the president at that time.

This time around, she surpassed the current US president and first lady in the 2019 Gallup’s annual poll.

The poll had a random sample of 1,025 Americans being asked to name, "in an open-ended fashion, which man and woman living anywhere in the world they admire most."

The 55-year-old Michelle took 10 percent of the votes. She was followed by Melania Trump who gained 5 percent in the poll while Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, and Greta Thunberg all got 3 percent of the votes each.

In a similar way, former US president, Barack Obama, and the current president, Donald Trump, were tied for the title of most admired man in the 2019 Gallup poll.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather made $500,000 for every punch he landed in the last decade, a boxing statistician has said.

Forbes reports that Mayweather earned $916 million for the 10 bouts he fought in the last decade.

Those bouts included wins over Miguel Cotto, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and Manny Pacquiao among others.
