Kotoko’s Maxwell Konadu remembers his past with Rastafarian hair

Former Ghanaian football player and now coach of the Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Maxwell Konadu, has shared photos of himself online.

The photos showed the Rastafarian hair which became associated with him during his early days as a footballer.

The retired player was once a caretaker coach of the national football team and the U-23 side.

He was also part of the men’s national team that won the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

He also won the gold medal as assistant coach of the men’s Olympic team at the All-Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique in 2011.

In other news, YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video of American rapper and actor, Christopher Brian Bridges , professionally known as Ludacris, welcoming the New Year in Ghana.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows him at a public place with several people gathered and fireworks in display.

A countdown down is soon followed by a scream of “Happy New Year”, after which Ludacris shows a 360 degree of the place.

He then draws his wife, Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, closer and passionately kisses her on the cheek.
