Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has stated that it is more of a privilege to be married, than a right.

The revered man of God was speaking to his congregation on New Year’s Eve of 2019 during the Kairos Night of Action Chapel International.
According to the founder of the Christian Action Faith Ministries, both men and women should see it as a privilege when they marry.

“I tell people all the time; I say to men and I say to women that marriage is not a right, it’s a privilege.
“So, if you’re married to a man, it’s a privilege; and men, if you’re married to a woman, it’s a privilege,” he noted.
Duncan-Wlliams divorced his first wife, Mama Francisca and got married to Rosa Whitaker some 10 years ago.
Rosa Whitaker is described as a woman with solid educational background. She is the president and CEO of The Whitaker Group (TWG), and is recognised as a leading expert on African trade, investment and business.
The man of God is also on record to have stated that marriage is not for boys because boys do not marry and that he was a boy in his first marriage.

Buttressing his stance with scripture, the man of God said: “for this reason a man shall live his father and the mother and joined his wife, not a boy shall leave the father and mother and join his girl," he stressed.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the 2020 general election is just 11 months away and most political parties and their various flag bearers have already started campaigning.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) believes they are in a better position to rule the country as they are of the view that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) did not do good when it comes to managing the economy.
