The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, has explained how he saved the life of the Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Usman Nuru Sharubutu.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM, Owusu Bempah explained that he teamed up with other men of God to intercede for the Islamic leader.

According to him, the decision to do so was reached after his prophecy about the death of the Chief Imam in the year 2018.

The prophecy led to an attack on his church by Muslim youth, compelling the Chief Imam to beg the youth to refrain from violence.

Speaking after the attack, Owusu Bempah quoted a portion of the Bible and later apologised to the Chief Imam for the prophecy about his death.

A year after the incident, the 100-year-old Chief Imam is still alive and strong but many now refer to the man of God as a fake prophet.

Per a report by adomonline.com, he noted that Ghanaians ought to thank him for saving the life of the Chief Imam.

“I don’t blame those calling me a false prophet because they don’t know the things I did to keep Chief Imam alive” he stated.

He further noted that about three deputy Imams lost their lives after his prophecy and their leader would have followed suit if he (Owusu Bempah) had not intervened.

With people watching him throughout the entire process, he finishes the meal and the witnesses begin to clap for him.
