The rapper and his whole family got the Gabonese citizenship on Thursday, January 2, during their trip to the African country.

It should be noted that Ludacris and his family had visited Ghana for the Year of Return. In the country, they were at sites that are significant to slave trades on the continent 400 years ago.

That is according to boxing statistician, Dan Canobbio, a Compubox operator who analyzed data from Mayweather's 10 fights in the 2010s — all wins, with two knockouts — and found that the unbeaten American landed 1,833 punches.

This means that Mayweather made an estimated $916 million from the punches he landed alone in the last decade.

Mayweather beat a who's who of boxing royalty during that era, including dominant wins over Miguel Cotto, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, and Manny Pacquiao.

He also finished Conor McGregor in the UFC fighter's only boxing rules contest to date, in a bout that punctuated his earnings.

Forbes also reports that Mayweather earned approximately $915 million for those 10 fights, and Canobbio used that figure to calculate just how much cash he received when it came to punches landed.
