Fuse ODG's Kente party: Fans injured as stage collapses at event
It was a tragic moment as the stage for this year's Kente Party of TINA (This Is New Africa) Festival collapsed in the middle of the event.

The unfortunate incident has left a fan in critical condition with several others injured at the event which took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the stage was seen collapsing just after Article Wan had finished performing and Kwesi Arthur was about mounting the stage to perform.

Some of the patrons at the event were heard shouting “Jesus, Jesus” with the MC saying, “it’s cool, it’s cool”.
The fan who was severely injured was later identified as a brother of Musician Article Wan when he was being rushed to the hospital.

The event which took place between Friday, January 3 and Saturday January 4, 2020, was called off immediately the incident happened.
TINA Fest is an annual event organized by UK-based Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Fuse ODG. It is to reunite the African Diaspora by creating a platform for Africans both at home and abroad to come together and appreciate the uniqueness of Africa through music.

This year’s event was the climax for Ghana’s Year of Return initiative.
YEN.com.gh earlier disappointed Assemblyman hopeful and social media celebrity, Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim, popularly known as Hon. Aponkye, has stated that he will miss award-winning broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah.
Hon. Aponkye made this touching statement amidst tears after spending the whole day chilling with Nana Aba.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Hon. Aponkye who was crying like a baby said he did not want Nana Aba to leave after they had a very wonderful time out together.
Hon. Aponkye, who kept on crying like a baby, told the people around Nana Aba Anamoah to beg her to stay a little longer.
