MzVee speaks about her absence from music; says Efya really helped her

Ghanaian female singer MzVee, has opened up for the first time about why she took a long break from music.
The 'Come and See My Moda' hitmaker in an interview monitored by YEN.com.gh, said she had a mental breakdown which left her super depressed for two years over matters of relationship and family.

“For about two years say 2017, 2018, I was super depressed. Super super depressed.” she told Berla Mundi and was asked what made her depressed, she added that “it was just things happening personally and it happened to affect my relationship with work," MzVee said.
She added that throughout her period of depression, the only person she could count on was songstress, Efya

“It was really tough but Efya, I’ve always looked up to her, she’s become like a big sis so she’s one person who really helped me,” the 'Bend Down' singer said.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian singer MzVee had taken to social media to show off her beautiful and young-looking mother.
In the new photos sighted by YEN.com.gh, the MzVee is seen dressed in a red top over black trousers. Her mother was dressed in a skirt and top made from African print.
Posing for the photos, MzVee had her hand wrapped around the shoulder of her mother who was all smiles. Another photo had the singer kissing the cheek of her mother.

Sharing the photos, MzVee who indicated that she was going to the spa with her mother described her mum as the best.
"Spa day with mum...She’s the best," she wrote on Instagram.
