The Vice President of the United Arab Emirates has announced a change in the tourist visa system in the country.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, revealed that the duration of the tourist visa is now five years for all nationalities and allows for multi-entry.
The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and also ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, made this announcement on Twitter.

“Today we approved the change of the tourist visa system in the country so that the duration of the tourist visa is five years, multi-use for all nationalities,"He tweeted:
He added that it is the aim of the country to establish major global tourist destination.
"We receive more than 21 million tourists annually and our aim is to establish the country as a major global tourist destination.”

In other news, the minister of lands and natural resources, Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh, has been involved in an accident, YEN.com.gh has learned.
The incident occurred at Sunyani in the Bono region and it has since been reported to the police.
Per a report by Ghana Web, the accident occurred as the minister was returning from a trip in the region.
