The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has induction into office, a new Chief Justice, the head of the Judiciary, the third arm of government, responsible, above all, for maintaining the integrity of our constitutional order.
On Tuesday, 7th January, 2020, Justice Anin Yeboah was sworn-in as the 14th Chief Justic , in view of his level of qualification, the number of years served with distinction on the Bench in the Superior Court of Judicature,.
In a post sighted on the president's Facebook page, Akufo-Addo said he expect decency, discipline, fairness, hard work, deep seated respect for the rule of law, and the continuing modernisation of judicial activities to be the hallmarks during his era as Chief Justice.
Ghanaians have take to the post to share their sentiments as well as well-wishes to Justice Anin upon his new appointment.

Congrats Justice Anim,my humble plea is to work on the custodian law where people who commit petty crimes are not put in walled prisons but allow to work on the street to improve sanitation issues because some of the cases revealed by crime check foundations is disheartening and needs further consideration.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Parliament had approved President Akufo-Addo's nomination for chief justice, Justice Anin Yeboah as Chief Justice of the republic of Ghana.
This followed the recommendation of the Appointments Committee for approval by the entire house by consensus.
He was vetted on Monday, December 23, 2019, by appointments’ committee and unanimously approved.
