Rapper-turned-gospel singer, Kanye West, plans to take his Sunday Service on tour to Europe and African this year.
US rapper, Kanye West, is planning to bring his spiritual Sundays on tour to Europe and Africa.
According to TMZ, West’s plans to expand his service globally this year. Kanye announced that he has taken a break from touring with his music and wants to focus his time and energy in producing more gospel songs with the choir he performs with, and also release another album. He released ‘Jesus is Born’ during the festive season.
Kanye’s Sunday Service held some impressive gatherings since it was established in January 2019. He performed at California’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Kanye said he wanted to focus on spreading the word of God and testify about what Jesus has done for him, during the service at Joel Osteen’s Lakewood Church in Texas in November.
“Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me, in that I’m no longer a slave. I’m a son now, a son of God. I’m free.”
Just over a week ago, YEN.com.gh reported that rapper-turned-gospel singer, Kanye West, had decided to spend the first anniversary of his Sunday Service gospel events not at a lavish hotel, but rather on the streets of Los Angeles.
He took the celebrations to the Union Rescue Mission shelter in one of the poorest areas of LA, according to People magazine.
Using this event as an opportunity to talk about the issue of homelessness, Kanye revealed that he had a solution to the problem.
The singer said he had a 'vision' and that he is already talking to entrepreneur of note, Elon Musk, about how to go about implementing his idea.
YEN.com.gh gathered that Kanye thinks he can help end the homeless problems all over the world.
