On 7 January, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, turned 8 years old and she's growing up fast.

Beyoncé's dad is a very proud grandfather and to celebrate Blue Ivy's birthday, he shared a snap of her that few fans have seen before.

In the photo, it is obvious that the girl inherited her mother's beauty, she looks just lovely, not to mention she looks surprisingly grown-up as well.

The caption that Mathew Knowles used was simple and made it clear that he is fond of his oldest granddaughter.
