Taraji P Henson: Black movie star teams up with Target to launch hair care line

Award-winning actress, Taraji P. Henson, has launched her own hair care line, YEN.com.gh has learned.

The actress, who has featured in top series such as Empire and Power, revealed that she could have been a cosmetologist if she hadn’t ended up in acting.

According to her, she used to fix hair back in college in a bid to earn extra money and according to her, she never lost her passion for hair.

Per a report by blackenterprise.com, she added that she began plans for her hairline in her kitchen.

Her 18-piece product line is set to officially launch in Target stores on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

She adds that it is created for every structure and it comes in various forms, , from straight to wavy to curly to coily.

Henson goes on to say that the colour-coordinated product line is divided into four parts, which are cleansing and care, repair, treatments, and scalp-care.

In other news, YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video in which a woman dressed in a church outfit is seen at a bar drinking beer.

The identity of the woman is not immediately clear and the location of the bar is also yet to be confirmed.

She, however, appeared oblivious of the fact that she was being recorded as she sat at a table with the beer bottle in front of her.

As if to drum home the point, Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata’s hit song, Things Fall Apart, can be heard being played in the background.
