An observation righty highlighted by Samuel Attah-Mensah, Ghanaian business owner and managing director of award-winning Accra-resident English speaking radio station Citi FM.

Samuel Attah-Mensah aka Sammens appeared to have had and heard enough of Ghanaians attending birthday parties and weddings without honouring the invitations with presents.

While the prominent CEO did not make known what stirred up his recent remarks about Ghanaians, Sammens, urged Ghanaians to turn a new leaf in the year 2020.

''2020! Ghanaians should learn how to attend Birthday parties and weddings with presents. Aaaaba! They a they won't bring gifts and yet they want the choicest of food and drinks. Repent ye Ghanaians,'' Attah-Mensah shaded in a post on Twitter.

His remarks generated some remarks from Ghanaians who follow his thread on Twitter.

''This matter de3...Hmmmmm! I jus don’t get it. As a personal principle I eat at home before going for any social program. I am mostly surprised when ppl who came empty handed are angry that they didn’t get food or drink or sth! Ghanafo),'' Komla Tsegah said in reaction.

KO_Ampong wrote: ''On the other hand wedding is not synonymous to party or item 13 as my beloved GH’s call it so we must also learn to have wedding without reception period. That way we shall get to see those who genuinely wanna support and the food fanatics.''

Dee disagreed with Sammen when he said: ''Please, it is not in our psyche. You have got, and you say you want to do party, we too, we will come and chop for you.''
